Remember NO school on Monday, February 20th due to President’s Day and Wednesday, February 22 is an early release day due to teacher training. Primary is released at 11:30 and Intermediate is released at 12:00.

Spelling/Phonics– Here are our words for our spelling test this week:

Reading- We are diving into poetry. This week we are focusing on 5 Senses and Cinquain poems. The 5 Senses poem is just writing about a subject using our 5 senses. A Cinquain follows a pattern. See examples below.

Math- We are starting fractions this week. In 2nd grade our vocabulary is 2 out of 6 piece are shaded= 2/6.
