Hello! I am so excited to meet each one of you!  I hope that every child that enters my classroom feels loved, safe and feels like part of one big family.  I also hope that I create an environment where each child is excited about learning and looks forward to coming to school. I have been an educator for 21 years.  I have taught 1st-6th grade throughout my 21 years of teaching.  I have been a 2nd grade teacher the last 10 years.  I have two wonderful children.  My son will be a junior this school year and my daughter will be going into middle school.  I grew up right smack in the middle of the DFW area in a place called Grand Prairie and lived there for 41 years.  My husband grew up in White Oak and so we came back here 6 years ago.  I wanted to come to a place where I knew my children would be loved and feel safe, so I knew White Oak was the perfect place.
