We had a great first day! I am so excited about this school year and I enjoyed getting to know all my students today! I know it’s going to be an awesome year. We learned procedures and practiced our CHAMPS.

In order to eliminate some of the traffic congestion we experienced this morning, the route across the high school parking lot has been reopened to morning traffic. It will stay open until 7:55 am. There is still no parking in the high school parking lot, as the band will begin practice after 7:55 and the parking lot will then be blocked off. Remember school begins at 8:00 am and students will be counted tardy after 8:00.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work out the kinks for the beginning of the school year.

I was so happy to see everyone last night at Meet the Teacher!! It was a full house and I am so glad I got to meet everyone that came. For those that weren’t able to make it, please know that there will be forms that will need to be filled out. Those of you who took your forms home please remember to bring them back Monday so that I will have all the information that I need to start the year out right. I am looking forward to Monday and the start of a new school year! “Owl” be seeing you Monday!

Hello! I hope that you had a fun, safe summer. I had a lot of fun spending time with my family. We went to Galveston and spent time on the beach. I also got to tour Moody Gardens and see the rainforest. Then we spent a few weeks in Dallas so that my kids could see their grandma.
I am looking forward to the new school year and I can’t wait to meet you all in just a few short weeks! I am excited and I hope that you are too! It’s going to be a great year!!
