No spelling, no math homework, and I am not requiring them to read. If you would like for them to read this week and sign their reading log I will still check and give them a ticket if they read.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s already the holiday season!! Next week is Thanksgiving Break, here is our schedule for the week:

Monday, November 24th- Normal School day

Tuesday, November 25th- Early Release at 11:00 am.

Wednesday November 26th – Friday, November 28th- Thanksgiving Break (no school)

I sent home parent conference notes today, so be looking for those. Those of you who will be having a parent conference with me it will be held on Tuesday, November 11 and a time that has been written on the note. Please let me know if that time works for you. Some will be getting notes indicating that a conference is not necessary at this time, however, if you have any questions or concerns and would like to schedule a conference on another day I will be happy to meet with you.

I am going to try doing math homework a little differently this week. I have sent all their math homework today stapled together. I told them they do not have to turn them in until Friday. Also continue to have your child read every night and sign their reading log. I will be sending home their fluency reading page tomorrow.
