Monday *Bouncy Houses- Bring or wear socks
*Students may start bringing their Penny Christmas gifts

Tuesday *Polar Express Day- Students may wear dress code appropriate pajamas.

Wednesday *Christmas Around the World- We will be learning about how other countries celebrate the Holidays.

Thursday *Early Release Day at 11:30

Friday *Christmas Party at 9:00am and Early Release at 11:30. I will have a sign out sheet in my classroom for those that would like to check your child out after the party. (Please enter the building through the Primary entrance on party days.)

Spelling/Phonics– We do not have a spelling test this week and we will not have one next week due to it being a short week. We will be working on vowel digraphs and diphthongs using the -ow, -ou, -oo, -ew patterns.

Reading– We will continue working on author’s purpose PIE P= persuade, I= inform, E= entertain.
Read 20 minutes every night. We are still doing reading benchmarks so your child will still be responsible for choosing their own books to read at night. They may also read a book from home.

Math– We are continuing addition with regrouping to the hundreds place.

Tonight’s Christmas Parade has been cancelled due to the weather. I will let you know if and when they reschedule.
