Starting this week will begin taking spelling quizzes on Friday. Each week your child will write their new words in their planner on Monday. Along with their spelling words they will also have dictation sentences that they will have to write on the back of the quiz. The words will either be from the word wall or from the new words they get each week.

Tuesday, September 15, is parent orientation. It will begin at 6:00pm and end at 7:00pm. This is a short meeting to give you information about 2nd grade. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress or concerns you may have about your child then please schedule a parent conference with me. My conference time is 2:00-2:45 or after school.
